I'M BACK....................

I have taken time off from posting,  but not from drinking and enjoying wines from all over the world......I am hopeful that I can begin posting one new wine rating per week.  Time to pull out all of my "napkin notes" and "label notes" from the cigar box and enter them into my blog.

2012 Belle Glos Pinot Noir Meiomi

The little $20 screw top beauty stands strong and firm for the price.  This wine is very fruit forward, but deeply rich. The color tends to be a little darker than most Pinots, but is does not take away from the enjoyment.  If you are not a fan of "Dark or Black Cherry" flavors...stay away.  This wine can be enjoyed on the porch, standing around the kitchen bar with friends or served with a fine..not to saucy....dinner.  I would serve with a traditional turkey dinner and or other white meat meals.  For a more classical/traditional fare..with a grilled salmon highlighted with a smoked season salt rub. I would also recommend buying by the case in order to get the price down, but drink within a year of purchase.  Not one to hold, nor will you be able to...  I rate this 7 BigBecks out of 10.
